Professor Yoshihiro Yamazaki from Q-PIT was featured on the top page and research close-up of the homepage of Kyushu University in the article entitled “Materializing the future of energy”.

In his research, Prof. Yamazaki applies artificial intelligence to the search for new materials. His group is making advances in a class of materials known as inorganic perovskites in their effort to realize a clean-energy society sooner.

The perovskite materials under their investigation can facilitate reactions to store energy in or extract it from chemicals such as hydrogen.

Prof. Yamazaki sets a fuel cell sample in test equipment for evaluation.
