I have been working in the fields of “Electrochemistry”, “Materials Science”, “Transport Phenomena”, “Material Mechanics”, and “Surface Science” to control the migration of metal atoms at macro and micro levels and to develop desired morphologies and physical/chemical properties. Specifically, I have been involved in research on metal electrodeposition into nanoporous membranes and the fabrication of electrodeposited metal nanowires and nanotubes, as well as the application of atomic layer deposition (ALD) and solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). As a sub-coordinator of the Research Promotion Division at Q-PIT, I would like to use my experience to support and promote university-wide interdisciplinary research collaboration across the boundaries between Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences. As an independent researcher, I would also like to actively collaborate with researchers around the world to create materials that reveal the desired energy properties and functions by electrochemically controlling the transports of atoms, ions, and electrons on micro- and macro-scales.
