Title of the Research | Development of energy-saving performance and indoor health environment diagnosis system based on BI-Tech |
Outline of Research | Japanese government declared goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, to achieve this target the Ministry of Energy has proposed the BI-Tech project, which aims to help raise awareness of energy conservation among building occupants through AI and IoT technologies. In this study, we focus on the users’ air conditioning set-point temperature and energy-saving behaviors and developed a low-cost system for real-time monitoring & prediction of indoor thermal comfort and air conditioning energy consumption based on BI-Tech, calculating thermal comfort in real time and predicting air conditioning energy consumption based on user’s set-point temperature changes and evaluate the indoor healthy office environment in real time uploading data to App interacting with users, to raise the users’ awareness of energy saving and achieve energy-saving behavior. |
