Title of the Research	Highly activated single-layer nanosheet dye-sensitized photocatalyst for overall water splitting
Outline of Research	Overall water splitting using a photocatalyst and solar energy has attracted significant attention as a next-generation energy medium, but the current light-hydrogen conversion efficiency is about 1%. Therefore, I will focus on nanosheet structures which can be improved the surface area, photon absorption efficiency, and dye loading amount. In this research, I will develop an exfoliation reagent that has a dye-sensitizing ability, and a hybrid photocatalyst with a nanosheet type photocatalyst system that can respond to near infrared region.
